One of the top tips is knowing when the right time to shop for a new car is. “What is the right time?” you ask. One of the best times is during the week, not on the weekend. Most people are working during the week, so there are fewer people purchasing cars, which means the car dealer will be more flexible with negotiating. You never want to shop on a weekend. Car Dealers will not be as willing to negotiate because there are so many other potential buyers lined up waiting to buy a car.

Another good time is towards the end of each month and the end of the year. This is when car dealers are trying to meet sales quotas and move inventory. You stand a much better chance of negotiating a good purchase price at these times.

And lets not forget when the next year models are coming out. Dealer’s are always much more willing to negotiate on this year’s models once the new year models have arrived.
